1 DOCUMENT SCOPE

1 About This Policy
​
This guide only relates to debts purchased by us under a Notice of Assignment. All other debts managed by us are subject to our client's own Credit Guide.
​
We hold an Australian Credit Licence pursuant to the National Consumer Protection Act 2009 (Licence Number 430659). This Australian Credit Licence authorises us to engage in credit activities as a credit provider by:

-
carrying on a business of providing credit as defined by the National Credit Code; and / or
-
being a credit provider under a credit contract; and / or
-
performing the obligations or exercising the rights of a credit provider in relation to a credit contract or proposed credit contract as the credit provider; and / or
-
providing credit assistance to a consumer that relates to a credit contract or proposed credit contract under which the licensee is or will be the credit provider; and or
-
being a mortgagee under a mortgage that secures or will secure obligations under a credit contract under which the licensee is the credit provider; and or
-
performing the obligation or exercising the rights of a mortgagee in relation to a mortgage or proposed mortgage that secure or will secure obligations under a credit contract under which the licensee is the credit provider; and or
-
being a beneficiary under a guarantee that guarantees obligations under a credit contract under which the licensee is the credit provider; and / or
-
performing the obligations or exercising the rights of a beneficiary under a guarantee or proposed guarantee that guarantees obligations under a credit contract under which the licensee is the credit provider; and / or
-
carrying on a business of providing consumer leases; and / or
-
being a lessor under a consumer lease; and / or
-
providing credit assistance to a consumer in relation to a consumer lease or proposed consumer lease for which the licensee is the lessor; and / or
-
performing the obligations or exercising the rights of a lessor in relation to a consumer lease as the lessor

This Australian Credit Licence is limited to credit activities engaged in by us:
​
-
as an assignee of the rights of credit provider, lessor, mortgage or beneficiary of a guarantee under a Credit Contract, Consumer Lease, Mortgage or Guarantee
-
for the purpose of demanding and receiving payments in accordance with, and enforcing the terms and conditions of a Credit Contract, Consumer Lease, Mortgage or Guarantee that has been assigned to the licensee

3 Complaints & Disputes

We seek to have complaints and disputes resolved as quickly as possible. In the first instance please contact us per the above to tell us about your complaint or dispute.

If we cannot resolve your complaint or dispute within 5 working days, we will apply our Internal Dispute Resolution process that our Internal Dispute Resolution team will handle.

If you are not satisfied with the above steps to resolve your dispute, our External Dispute Resolution scheme is available to you.

This scheme is completely independent and provided at no cost to you.

If an issue has not been resolved your satisfaction, you can lodge a complaint with the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA). AFCA provides fair and independent financial services complaint resolution that is free to consumers.
